Registrants and representative organisations

Registrants

Communicating with our registrants is essential to the work that we do. It is important that registrants are kept up to date with developments that affect their professional registration. In addition to calling our Registration Department, registrants can:

  • access the registration section of the website, including information on registration deadlines and continuing professional development;
  • receive HCPC In Focus, the bi-monthly e-newsletter for registrants;
  • view our registrant hub, featuring the latest news and updates;
  • request free tools to promote their registration.

HCPC Fitness to Practise Partnership Forums

Twice a year we hold HCPC Fitness to Practise forums which are attended by members of professional bodies, trade unions and our fitness to practise department.

At the meetings we discuss regulatory developments, particularly those which may affect the individuals who undergo fitness to practise proceedings. These may include updates to our policies, statistics and trends, research work, or operational approaches.

The aim is to obtain greater understanding of the issues faced by the stakeholders to the regulatory process and collaborate to achieve balanced outcomes for the registrants and the public. These meetings are usually held in May and November.

If you are a representative body and would like more information about the forum or would like to attend, please get in touch by email.
