Examples of CPD profiles that would meet our standards
These profiles give examples of how registrants can show they meet our standards for CPD in a variety of professions, settings and activities, show how they meet our standards for CPD if they were selected for audit.
These profiles are provided not as ‘ideal’ examples of CPD, but instead to illustrate how there are a variety of different ways of meeting our standards, depending on how and where you practise your profession.
We would encourage you to read profiles from professions other than your own, since you may find useful examples of types of CPD and ways of showing how the standards are met from outside your profession.
Some of these documents were produced before we changed our name from the Health Professions Council (HPC) to the Health and Care Professions (HCPC). Although our name has changed, our standards remain the same and these sample profiles remain valid.
