Statement from CEO in response to reports of HCPC registered professionals who have lost their lives to COVID-19

Responding to reports that a number of HCPC registered professionals have lost their lives, John Barwick, Chief Executive & Registrar said,

‘We are very sorry to hear the news that a number of our registered professionals have sadly lost their lives during the COVID-19 pandemic. These were hard working, committed professionals who would have undoubtedly put their service users’ needs at the centre of their practice. We are grateful for their dedicated service and professionalism. We extend our sincere condolences to their families, friends and colleagues at this difficult time.’
