During the period of National Mourning, the HCPC’s core regulatory work will continue.
However, we have made some changes for this period, set out below.
Events
Our external events planned for this week have been postponed to October. Events affected by this are:
- Employer Insights webinar: standards of proficiency – moved to 11 October 2022 at 13:00 GMT
- #myhcpcstandards: service user engagement – moved to 12 October 2022 at 15:30 GMT
Participants already signed up for these two events will be contacted directly about the changes. These participants will automatically be able to access the postponed events if they wish to do so.

Closure for State Funeral on 19 September
The HCPC’s offices will be closed on Monday 19 September 2022 for the national Bank Holiday for the Queen’s State Funeral. Our offices will reopen at 9am on Tuesday 20 September 2022.
This means that on Monday 19 September 2022 our phone lines, email inboxes and social media channels will not be monitored. If you do contact us with a query on this day, we will respond as soon as possible when we return.
Fitness to Practise hearings
Fitness to Practise hearings scheduled for Monday 19 September 2022 will be re-arranged. If you are affected by this, we will contact you with new details for your hearing. For any queries concerning a fitness to practise hearing you are involved in, please contact the Tribunal Service on tst@hcpts-uk.org or 0808 164 3084.
Online services
As with any other non-working day, our online services will continue to be available during this time. These services include:
- Apply for HCPC registration
- Your online account to renew your registration, update your details, or submit your CPD
- Check the Register
- Raise a concern
- Register of approved programmes
