We consulted on revised draft Guidance on conduct and ethics for students (the Guidance). It is based on our standards of conduct, performance and ethics. These are the high level ethical standards we set for all the professionals we register. They set out in broad terms the behaviour we expect of our registrants.

The Guidance on conduct and ethics for students provide information on our expectations and how the standards of conduct, performance and ethics apply to students on approved education and training programmes.

As a result of a review of the standards of conduct, performance and ethics, we have revised the Guidance to ensure that it continues to be fit for purpose, up-to-date and well understood by students, education providers, practice placement providers and others. The draft guidance has been produced using feedback we gathered as part of the review including from students.

You can download copies of the consultation document and the draft guidance below. You will need to refer to these documents when responding.
