HCPC launches consultation on revised Indicative Sanctions Policy

04 Jun 2018

The Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) has today launched a consultation on a revised version of our Indicative Sanctions Policy.

The Indicative Sanctions Policy sets out the principles Practice Committee Panels should consider when deciding what, if any, sanction should be applied in fitness to practise (FTP) cases. It aims to ensure that decisions are fair, consistent and transparent.

The Policy was first published in 2004, and has been kept up-to date when required. We have now taken the opportunity to undertake a more comprehensive review of the existing Policy. This consultation seeks views on these changes.

The consultation runs until Friday 31st  August.

To take part in the consultation, complete our online survey, email consultation@hcpc-uk.org or write to Consultation on revised Indicative Sanctions Policy, Policy and Standards Department, Health and Care Professions Council, Park House, 184 Kennington Park Road, London, SE11 4BU.
